Olga Cavoura received her BSc in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow, UK. She has an MSc in Environmental Science from the University of Strathclyde, UK, and her PhD from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the same University focused on mercury speciation in the environment.
Between 2005 and 2018 she was a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering at the National School of Public Health, Greece. Dr. Cavoura is currently Assistant Professor and Head of the Laboratory of the Environment and Occupational Health in the Department of Public Health Policy, University of West Attica.
Her research interests include environmental pollution, environmental assessment, and public and environmental health. She has numerous scientific publications including chapters in books, international reports, papers in peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Cavoura is a member of the Atomic Spectrometry Updates and in collaboration with experts in the field writes annual, critical, and comprehensive reviews of the major developments in atomic spectrometry in environmental analysis.
